With the season now over halfway, here’s a look at what our players have been achieving at representative level this summer - a reflection of the quality and depth across both our senior and junior teams.

Rob Lord
- Played in Nottinghamshire’s opening County Championship game of the season, and is in the squad for the Metro Bank 50-over competition, featuring in the opening match.
- Helped Notts 2nd XI reach Finals Day at Wormsley.
- Served as 12th man for England at Trent Bridge in Ben Stokes’ final Test match.

George McCormick
- Featured in all three formats for Shropshire this season, helping them reach the T20 Super 12s in Norfolk on 9th August
- Three 3-day games left on the schedule, including a match vs Cheshire at Nantwich

Tom Bramhall
- Following a winter at Mosman CC in Sydney - Australia, Tom’s opening spells for Bowdon earned him a Cheshire 2nd XI call-up
- Picked up 3 wickets vs Warwickshire U18s

Will Gadsby
- Scored 85 in the first innings and 103* in the second for Worcestershire U18s in their 3-day match vs Shropshire

Joe O'Brien
- Took 5 wickets on debut for Cheshire 2nd XI vs Shropshire Academy at South Downs Road
- Won the North of England 20-over and 40-over competitions with Altrincham Grammar School for Boys
- Played in the national semi-finals at Headingley and heads to Lord’s on 10th September for the inaugural Knight Stokes U15s Cup Final

Yash Polisetty
- Scored 101* for Cheshire U14s vs Northumberland
- Also in the AGSB side to win the North of England competitions, and will travel to Lord’s in September for the Knight Stokes U15s Cup Final
- Scored almost 2000 runs this season so far for school, club and county

Bertie Richards
- Representing Cheshire U18s and off this winter to Melbourne - Australia to continue his development at Bonbeach CC

Tom Kenny
- Scored 61* for Cheshire U14s vs Yorkshire

And well done to the numerous junior players competing at Cheshire District level.
